Trust is the glue of life. It’s the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It’s the foundational principle that holds all relationships.  ~Stephen Covey

2 Samuel 22:31

As for God, His way is perfect;

The word of the Lord is proven;

He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

The world is full of promises that are not true. I have purchased many products that have claimed to do something and it didn’t fulfill the advertisers’ promises. I have had some people tell me they would do something and then they do not follow through on their word, time and time again. The unfortunate thing is this is far too common.

It is true that we have all fallen short and let others down at times. That doesn’t make it right. We should decide to do what we say every time. When this becomes the norm in our lives, others can trust us and we can trust ourselves.

Do an honest evaluation today and ask yourself if you are trustworthy. Are there any areas you need to improve? Who and what do you put your trust in? Are they the right people and the right things? If you notice something that needs work, make a decision to do something immediately to change.
